NKOTB - I'LL BE LOVING YOU FOREVER!

For those of you who knew me 20 years ago, you might remember that I had a little thing for the New Kids on the Block. I had a special crush on Jordan Knight and my room was covered with their posters. Laraine, Heather and I slept out on the sidewalk at Smith's to get tickets to their first concert in 1989. We were complete martyrs for them as we were mocked by the boys at school. But we were true fans and on November 15th, all of that dedication paid off as we were serenaded to once again by those hotties. And yes, they still have "The Right Stuff". I think Joey's held his looks the best so he's my new crush. Although when Jordan sang to me with his shirt unbuttoned I thought my heart skipped a beat or two. But they all sang and danced until we were weak in the knees! We screamed until we had nothing left and then screamed some more. It was truly the most fun I've ever had at a concert. Laraine and Heather, keep "Hangin' Tough"! Joey, I'll always be your "Cover Girl" and Jordan, "I'll Be Loving You Forever" as well. Call me! I'm legal now!

My 35th Birthday

The pictures on this posting are from my ACTUAL birthday which I spent with Marty. He made me the yummiest breakfast. Then we went to the gym together. He ordered a cake for me that was totally cute and delicious. Then we went to dinner with some of my close friends that I also happen to work with. He was SUCH a good sport to listen to our nursing stories all night. I was SOOO excited when Marty fixed my garage door opener, fixed my slow drain, took stuff I've had in the basement for a year to Deseret Industries, and cut off the screws on my toilet that have been there for over a year and now the caps fit again! Seriously, the best birthday presents ever! Those little things meant the world to me! Thank you Marty for making my day so fun...By the way, notice the '35' on my cake out of candles and then look at the smoke when I blew them out! Nice photography!

Happy Birthday to Kryn, Gregan and Kindy!

Happy Birthday to Kryn and Gregan in October and to me in November! We had a combined family birthday party on Sunday and Marty brought a dang authentic pinata for the occasion. Not just any would do. He found a Mexican Tinkerbell (is that PC?) that we beat the snot out of. Pretty great time. Tressa got Kryn exactly what he wanted - a unicorn that lights up and talks. I think there was other criteria as well and she managed to find something that fit them all. He was clearly surprised and I think quite happy with his gift. Thank you for all of the nice birthday wishes and gifts! And the food was delicious!
